Why Boys & Girls State?
This program isn't just about learning — it's about doing. Selected students take on leadership roles, draft and pass legislation, run for office, and experience the responsibilities of civic engagement firsthand.
Through this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, they develop critical thinking, teamwork, and a deep appreciation for the democratic process.
With five high schools in Fairfield, we have a wealth of talented students eager to participate. However, the cost to send just one student is $500.
